Collection: T'boli Collection
This collection features a few of the time-honored arts and craft traditions of the T'boli tribe, an indigenous group found mostly in the province of South Cotabato, Mindanao island. Our T'boli partners reside around the beautiful Lake Sebu, a natural body of water positioned as a major ecotourism destination in the region. The T'bolis are known for their t'nalak textiles, some designs which are believed to appear in their dreams from one of their spirit gods. These weavers are known as the "dream weavers." The T'bolis are also recognized for their intricate hand embroidery and exquisite brass pieces using a method they call kem tau temwel.
