Yakan Collection

This collection features the popular handwoven textiles of the Yakans, a Muslim ethnolinguistic tribe mostly found in Basilan Island and Zamboanga City in southern Mindanao. They are known for their geometric patterns inspired by nature woven in bold and vibrant contrasting colors. By co-creating custom pieces in neutral and muted palettes, we add a modern feel to this cherished weaving tradition.
