A cultural and conversational piece in your home. This special wooden box is meticulously handcrafted by a master craftsman from Tugaya, Lanao del Sur, the center of Meranaw arts and crafts and home to many artisan families.
The baor (wooden box/storage chest) is one of the unique and distinct cultural products of the Meranaw people and a a testament to their excellent craftsmanship and stunning artistry. It is constructed using premium hardwood and adorned with traditional okir carvings and mother-of-pearl inlay on the outside with lightly padded fabric lining on the inside.
